This site should work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, or larger text. Last updated 2026.
Where it falls short today
The one page flyers we email as PDFs are not tagged for screen readers yet, so a screen reader may read them out of order. Some pages link to sites we do not run, like town calendars and program pages, and we cannot fix those.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, level AA. That is the common standard for websites. No outside firm has audited this site, so we do not claim it fully meets that standard.
What we check when the site changes
- Reading text is at least 16 pixels, and the page still works when you zoom in.
- Text and buttons are measured against their background for contrast.
- Buttons and links are big enough to tap on a phone.
- Every page has one main heading, so a screen reader can find its way.
