Muds

My name is Mohammed Mudassir. Everyone calls me Muds. Iqra and I live in Nesconset with our three kids, so Long Island is home to us before it is a market.

Before real estate I spent 25 years in tech in the San Francisco Bay Area: product management, UX design, design systems. The project I am proudest of: I helped get Urdu script onto the iPhone before Apple officially supported it. I saw a gap nobody else was closing, and I closed it. I use that instinct now to close gaps in how real estate is done, which is why I build the software my own team runs on.

A few winters ago a storm shut the roads the day of a closing walkthrough. My clients needed it done, so I drove through the snow and got it done. That is the standard I hold myself to, every time.

I am Iqra. I am a licensed real estate salesperson on Team Muds, and I am the heart behind Iqra's Kitchen.

My journey with food started more than twenty years ago in the Bay Area, and over the years cooking became my craft. It brought me to Long Island, where I created Iqra's Kitchen, a catering service built on one simple idea. Good food should bring people together. Everything I prepare is made from scratch, with my own spice blends.
