A Patchogue Dinner Theater Act Finds a Smithtown Stage
Smithtown is getting a new reason to go out on a weekend morning. The dinner theater brunch show that built a following at a pizza and cocktail spot in downtown Patchogue is relocating its performances to Bull Smith's Tavern on West Main Street, the building that used to house Croxley's.
The Patchogue location itself is not closing outright. Its owner says the room will keep hosting private parties and occasional pop up nights into next year, even as the regular dinner menu winds down. Once the shows land in Smithtown, expect the same mix of theme nights that made the brunch popular, including Grease, Frozen, and a general Broadway revue. No opening date or weekly schedule has been set yet, so keep an eye on Bull Smith's own announcements for when the first curtain goes up.
It is a small but telling sign of how Main Street keeps finding new uses for its older storefronts, something I watch closely when I talk with buyers curious about what is happening block by block. You can read more from the team at Greater Long Island.
If a lively Main Street scene matters to how you picture your next move, my town guides are a good place to start.
